Welcome To The DDR Community

Quick Jump To:

I am so excited to be sharing this initiative with everyone in our community! Staff,  member, volunteer and supporter alike; I think we are about to have alot of fun. My goal throughout all of this has been to focus on beauty and joy. I hope you find both of these things at DDR and that you flourish with your full potential as a creative person.

Let Us Know if there is anything we can do to enhance your experience!

Once per year DDR holds a charity event in support of the Camrose Women's Shelter. We have capacity to promote one charity event each quarter. That means that we have room for 3 more events! If you know a charity looking for a fund raising event venue space please have them contact us. If the charity is consistent with our values we may consider providing the space at a reduced or no cost.

We value that our seniors have done the hard work to pave the road we are currently on. In appreciation of this DDR will set aside 2 hours a week dedicated to senior focused initiatives. If you have an idea for a senior focused event please reach out. We would be happy to support your efforts.

(although not yet a Senior, we want to send special thanks to the leader of our Labyrinth crew pictured to the left)

We want our artists to feel fully enabled to work on large projects that may require physical assistance. If you want to get your hands dirty but membership is not right for you at the moment consider becoming a volunteer.

To volunteer to assist with an art project or event apply here.

Supporting Local Creators

The above sculpture is part of Dawn Allen's personal collection. We are very pleased to feature this original work on  our grounds.

The title is “ Earth, Fire, Wind and Water “  by Helen Rogers based in Edmonton, Alberta Canada. The dimensions are 41” x  15” x 15”; it is considered a mixed media sculpture, incorporating stained glass, wire, beads and glass tiles on a base of styrofoam, construction tube, and plaster infused bandage.

Our buildings will feature one original and two commissioned stained glass pieces from an talented artist duo based in Airdrie, Alberta Canada.

Our biggest source of pride is the source of our "Dino Mamma" Vicki-Lynn. The original concept was produced by Dinosaur Valley Studios based right in the Drumheller Valley.
